He originally from Hunan Province, was born in 1973 in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1996 and his master’s degree in 2005, both from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a university art teacher, living and working in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province. His photography continues focus on death, with a view toward reconstructing a view of life. In a world of eternal life that is far more distant and extensive than the world of life, he faces a difficult choice in re-exploring the depths of human nature; this is the contradictory history of functionality and excess, crime and punishment, humanity and divinity, thought and judgment, concealing and revealing.
